Check out the Lakeland Loom Beck Bracelets collection on Etsy!

Beck Bracelets - wear a little piece of the Lakes, wherever you wander.

These are Beck Bracelets - inspired by the play of light on flowing water in the Lake District. They have an adjustable slide clasp to fit any wrist.

Handcrafted in my Lake District studio, each Beck Bracelet is inspired by the streams-"becks", from Od Norse-that flow through fells and forests.

Designed with shimmering glass seed beads, every bracelet captures a different mood of water, light, and landscape: from golden sunlight to frosted winter stillness, hidden woodland pools to twilight skies.

Wear a little piece of the Lake District, wherever you wander!

Another Xmas present idea from the Lakeland Loom Etsy shop!

Wine glass charm sets make excellent gifts. Here are two OOAK (one-of-a-kind) sets I have in my Etsy shop. I can't make more of these, so when they are gone, they are gone!

Angelic wine glass marker set by Lakeland Loom

Angel, cherubim and seraphim seed bead wine glass charm set - just right for your Christmas table. Click here!

This set is named 'Dancing In The Rain Is The Key To Life'. It features charms in the shape of skaters, umbrellas and keys. The skaters are very Christmasy, but as well as a great stocking filler, it would make a beautiful 18th or 21st birthday present. Click here to view it in my Etsy shop.

I’ve restocked Mosslight from the Beck Bracelet Collection 🥳

When the Beck Collection launched last Saturday, the 'Mosslight' bracelet sold straight away! Today I remade it and have restocked! You can view the whole collection in my Etsy shop.

Etsy listing photography day!

It's not always easy but has to be done! Yes, it was listing photo day today. The daylight wasn't as good as I'd hoped for but I had to work with what I was given!

This was my photo set up

I put a sheet of ivory printer paper on my The Beadsmith macrame board and placed it on a chair. I arranged some pieces of slate on the paper to lend an organic feel. Next I positioned my Olivia2 overhead phone stand on a little table and took a couple of test shots to check the composition.

For a first go, I was happy with the photos. They are decent enough for me to use on my Etsy listings when I re-launch the Lakeland Loom shop, and can always be re-done when there's better light and I have improved my skills.

It's been a busy day and I am ready for a cup of tea!
